Woodstone of Hutchinson and Ridgewater College Nursing Department, have partnered together for the last two years. The nursing students come over each semester to gain knowledge while working with people who have dementia and the elderly.
Woodstone residents love when they come over because there are always many laughs exchanged when talking about hobbies, school, careers, and farming. Residents here at Woodstone benefit from seeing new faces and reminiscing with the students on personal life stories.
We are glad to have this partnership with the local college and their nursing program. We are looking forward to the next time they visit.
