No matter where you are in life, everyone wants a day when you can celebrate Love.
Love comes in all forms from spending time with your spouse, seeing your children or having a gathering of great friends. All these things can bring us happiness and an intense feeling of deep affection. As we age we hope that the things that once brought us joy continue to bring us the deep affection and feeling it did when we home.
The residents of Woodstone have acquired a new scene of home, but still have many feelings of joy and love among them. Today, on Valentine’s Day we wanted to show all our residents how much love we have for them, not only today, but each and every day. Everyone gathered together, some meeting for the first time to enjoy a celebration of love and appreciation through music, lunch and the annual crowing of the King & Queen of the Senior Community.
Today we saw more smiles, hugs and great friendships blossom. Residents felt so special when we took an everyday dining experience and turned it into a restaurant style experience, full of special requests and choices they would have had while dining out in the community. As we reflect on our experiences in our life it truly comes down to the small things in life and a celebration of Love each and every day.
