The generosity of our community partners has allowed Woodstone Senior Living of Hutchinson the ability for residents to not only become more involved within the Hutchinson community, but gives them the sense of purpose still being connected to what’s happening in their community. Our community partners do more than help make events or activities happen; they provided an opportunity to brighten the day of many individuals, create passion for old or new hobbies and so much more.
Woodstone has had great partnerships over the last three years of service, but we are not stopping here. We invite with open arms opportunities for not only adults and organizations to partner and create opportunities, but we also want to make sure that our younger volunteers have that same option to engage with our residents here at Woodstone. We have had the privilege to partner with so many great businesses, organizations, churches, preschools that we are excited to see what is next for Woodstone.
Our latest partnership we have started and are excited about is with ATHC, which is an Adult Training & Habilitation Center right here in Hutchinson. While they come in and engage with residents through activities, it is much more than that. The purpose behind this partnership was not only to line up volunteers to help, but it was a way that staff at ATHC could help individuals build social and communication skills they need to socialize with others in their community through activities and events.
If your business or organization would like to partner through different activities, events or opportunities, please feel to contact Erika, Community Life Coordinator at Woodstone at 320-234-8917 for more information.
