Dear residents, families and staff,
As with many organizations around the country, we are monitoring the recent outbreak of Coronavirus. We think it is important to provide timely information to you and your loved ones.
Older people, and people with pre-existing medical conditions appear to be more vulnerable to becoming ill with this virus.
This morning (March 2nd), our executive teams met to review infection control processes and to review all recommendations and advice we have received from the Minnesota Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. Now is the time for a calm preparedness within our communities.
Over the next few days, our health professionals will be reviewing infection control procedures with all of our senior living staff in our communities.
Our priority is to keep residents and our team members healthy.
We encourage families and visitors to restrict their visits if you have cold or flu like symptoms ,for the time being. As with any flu season, we want to be smart about when to visit and when not to visit.
Welcome Home Health Care and the teams at our communities will continue to provide information as quickly as possible.
If you would like more information about the Coronavirus, please visit the Minnesota Department of Health website.
Should you have any questions, or concerns, please contact either our Director of Health Services, or the Executive Director at any one of our communities.
Sincerely,
Roman Bloemke, COO, Woodstone Senior Living
