The year has come to the end of raising funds for our Woodstone of Hutchinson team the Forget me Nots. Some staff from Woodstone of Hutchinson walked on October 1, 2016 in Willmar, MN. We Walked to End Alzheimer’s. It was great to see families of Woodstone at the event also.
At the beginning of the Walk, each participant picks a Promise Flower based on the reason for their involvement:
Blue: I have Alzheimer’s.
Purple: I have lost someone to Alzheimer’s disease.
Yellow: I am supporting or caring for someone with Alzheimer’s.
Orange: I support the cause and a vision of a world without Alzheimer’
We brought home and placed each color of our Promise Flowers at the end of our driveway. Together our flowers create a garden of hope.
We hope to continue to bring awareness of this disease to the community. Please feel free to visit our Garden of Hope. If you have a Promise Flower you would like to add to our Garden of Hope you most certainly can.
