We are happy to announce that Woodstone of Hutchinson will soon be offering a Podiatry Service to all residents. We want to make sure residents are not ignoring persistent foot pain and have the opportunity to receive regularly scheduled foot care, if wanted. Feet should be inspected regularly, especially for changes in color or temperature. Licensed Podiatrists may be the first to recognize a serious health problem from examining your feet, provide routine foot evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of ankle and foot disorders as well as specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of all conditions that affect the foot and ankle. Whether the concern is a painful ingrown nail or the need for specialized foot care, everyone will receive personal attention and service.
Woodstone has chosen to bring “On-Site Care” on board for Podiatry Services. This will be a great asset to what we can offer to our residents here at Woodstone. As well as making this an easy convenient service in the comfort of the residents own home.
Some of the Podiatry services that On-Site Care will care for are: Achilles tendon discomfort, Arthritic foot conditions, Bunions, Corns and calluses, Diabetes, Flat feet, Fungal nails, Ingrown nails, Neuropathy, Wound care for leg and foot and Warts, just to name a few.
If you would like more information on the Podiatry Services that On-Site Care will provide, you can call On-Site Care directly at (763) 545-7545 or Janna Bjur, RN at Woodstone of Hutchinson.
