Since this pandemic started, I feel like we have been on a bit of a roller coaster ride. I’m sure you all feel the same way. Nothing about life is as it used to be, and that is so hard to digest. From the beginning, we have always operated from a place of caution…an abundance of caution. We closed our doors to visitors when we were told and we turned the dial little by little as we were allowed. We started with window visits, progressed to outdoor visits and finally we were so excited to let friends and family in to the building.
Unfortunately, the time has come to turn the dial back a bit. COVID cases are on the rise in Hutchinson and the surrounding communities. For the time being, we need to close our doors again. Essential Caregivers are allowed in, and I will be reaching out to each of you to make sure our schedules align.
We deeply appreciate the sacrifices you made to limit the impact of COVID-19 on our community and your patience as we wait this out. Our hope is that we will see a decline of cases in our area soon. Our entire team looks forward to seeing you again as families, friends and volunteers are a core fabric of what makes our community so special.
