A few weeks ago, we posted on our Facebook page that once we hit 550 “likes” we would bless a random resident with a live plant. Well… we have hit (and exceeded) that goal with thanks to our Woodstone Families and Friends!
We put all the resident names into a hat, mixed them up, and dug in… Our winner is Inez K!! Inez has lived at Woodstone for a few months and always has an extra burst of energy to share with other residents and staff.
Inez also comes with a very fun story about her love of yellow flowers! When Inez was just a few years old, she went to an authentic American Indian dance. Being little and completely amazed by all the beautiful flowers on the dancers clothing, Inez reached out and plucked a little yellow flower for her own. The dancers couldn’t help but notice her and nick-named her “Yellow Flower”. This name stuck with her throughout the years.
So, of course, when Inez’s name was picked for the Facebook contest, we had to surprise her with Yellow Flowers!
