Roman Bloemke – Chief Operations Officer
“Christmas traditions…. hard to know where to start. Growing up, our family traveled between grandparent’s houses – so we never really had traditions at our house, other than traveling. When I had kids, I made a suggestion that no matter what, we spend Christmas Eve together. Just us. We make all of our favorite snacks/appetizers. Then we huddle up and open gifts and then watch one or two of our favorite holiday movies. Over the years it has changed a little, but one thing remains, our little family spends time together.”

“My favorite tradition is the annual baking of my Grandma’s Molasses cookies with the marshmallow frosting. She thought they were such simple cookies, but those cookies brought us together and continues to bring our families together! The smell of those cookies instantly brings us into the holiday spirit!”
Jacob Work – Clinical Nurse Supervisor (LALD)
“My favorite Christmas tradition is when I was a little tike to now, is getting family together and baking treats for the holidays. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends!”
Deb Brewer – Community Life Coordinator
“My favorite tradition is carried on from my childhood with the German Christmas Pickle. The glass pickle ornament is hidden on the tree and the first family member to find it gets a special gift. So fun to watch everyone rush to the tree (sometimes without even removing coats or boots) to find the German pickle!”
McKenna Monahan – Marketing Specialist
“My favorite tradition that my family and I wear our Christmas pajamas on Christmas day while we open presents! We have been doing this for as long as I can remember and it’s by far the easiest and comfiest Christmas outfit! I also enjoy getting together with family and friends each year!”
